Alisha Gartland is a graduate of Melba Conservatorium of Music (Dip.Mus) and the Victorian College of the Arts (B. Mus in Musical Performance: Voice) whom has studied and worked professionally as a contemporary pop, musical theatre and opera singer.

Alisha teaches many students from beginners (of all ages) to students already working in the music industry, rebuilding technique, developing vocal style within original songs as well as preparing auditions. All students whom completed their AMEB Certificates/VCE under Alisha’s guidance have received A Honours/Credit results in both CPM & Singing for Leisure from Preliminary to Grade 7.

CJ holds a Masters of Music Teaching  (The University of Melbourne), a Bachelor of Musical Theatre (CQUniversity), and a DipMusTheatre

She leads student-centric lessons, establishing strong foundations for healthy singing and practices. She helps to guide students in building good routines and strategies to learn, explore, and develop their instruments with a sense of curiosity and play, no matter the age or experience level.

Peter is a guitarist, pianist and teacher.

Peter is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts where he received his Bachelors of Music Performance before continuing to undertake his Diploma of Education and Masters of Teaching at the University of Melbourne.

He has taught at various schools throughout the past 15 years, most notably Methodist Ladies College and Melbourne Grammar Campuses.

Will was born in Melbourne and is an accomplished operatic tenor as a specialist but is a wonderful contemporary/pop and musical theatre trainer also with additional training/skills to fit the various genres and varying techniques required for all styles of voice. 

Will’s first experience of the joy of singing was at age 9 when he joined the probationary ranks of the Australian Boys Choral Institute, an organisation he continued to sing with for a further 9 years. After completing his Bachelor of Music in Voice he came away with the privilege of working with some of Melbourne’s most accomplished performers and teachers, including Andrea Katz, Dean Sky-Lucas, Henry Choo, Christopher Tonkin and Merlyn Quaife. Will now performs all across Melbourne as a soloist and ensemble for Australian Contemporary Opera Co, Melbourne Opera, Melbourne Bach and Polyphonic Voices additional to educating and developing singers at The House of Voice in all genres including Pop, Rock, Contemporary and Musical Theatre despite his professional preference in opera/classical voice.

Maverick is a Green Room Award Winning actor and music theatre performer from Melbourne. Maverick holds a BA in Music Theatre from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). His professional credits include The Suspects in Murder for Two (Arts Centre Melbourne/Hayes Theatre Co.), Michael in The Boys in the Band (JTC), Britt Craig in Parade (Soundworks Productions), Emilia in The Comedy of Errors (Australian Shakespeare Company), Chandler Bing in Friends! The Musical Parody (SK Entertainment), and Donny/Junee in A Model Murder (LPD/Sydney Festival).

As a singing teacher Maverick is passionate about helping students find their voice, both through vocal pedagogy and performance psychology. Every voice is as unique as every individual and although the foundations of vocal technique and health are relatively consistent across individuals, Maverick believes in tailoring a unique approach to each student. Contrary to myth, learning to sing is far from a paint-by-numbers approach!
